CALL FOR ABSTRACTS - ORAL COMMUNICATIONS AND POSTERS

EFMC-ISMC 2014 will cover the most recent advances in lead identification and optimization strategies, drug design and profiling technologies, and illustrate the impact of biomarkers and imaging at the interfaces between chemistry, biology and experimental medicine. Particular emphasis will be put on first time disclosures, recent highlights in medicinal chemistry, and organic synthesis which had a strong impact on medicinal chemistry. All participants are invited to register and submit abstracts of scientific communications which will be peer-reviewed by the International Organising Committee and published in the book of abstracts distributed to all symposium attendants. Out of the submitted proposals, 35 oral communications will be selected. Check-out the available oral communication slots in the preliminary programme.

Submission Deadlines

• Deadline for Oral Communication submission and free Poster submission: March 25, 2014
• Announcement of the accepted Oral Communications: May 5, 2014
• After March 25 and until June 16, 2014, abstracts for Posters can still be submitted (with a handling fee of 50,00€)
• Abstract submission is final as of June 17, 2014

Every two years, the EFMC conferrs three Awards in order to acknowledge outstanding achievements in the field of Medicinal Chemistry. The 2014 Awards will be conferred on the occasion of the XXIII EFMC International Symposium on Medicinal Chemistry (EFMC-ISMC).

The EFMC Prizes are given annually and have been established to acknowledge outstanding young medicinal chemists within Europe.

Nominations for EFMC Awards and EFMC Prizes are open! The winners will be invited to deliver a presentation during EFMC-ISMC 2014.

Deadline for nominations: January 31, 2014.
